Initial Consultations:  $90

During the initial 1.5 hour acupuncture or homeopathy consultation, we take an in-depth look at your health and history.  Whatever ailments are bothering you the most are always the top priorities in our session, but we also investigate the health of all body systems to gain the best understanding of who you are from a holistic point of view. 

Sometimes things that may seem unimportant to you can be the biggest clues for Chinese medicine and homeopathy practitioners, and in homeopathy we are especially interested in unique symptoms that in our field we refer to as “strange, rare and peculiar.”  They’re not always as weird as they sound; it simply means that for us it is often more important to know the uncharacteristic aspects of your ailments than the common ones (i.e. many people have a sore throat and stuffy nose when they have a cold, but it is more helpful for us to know if you also have green, stringy mucous or feel better with open air). 

Whatever you say in session is always confidential, and since people have varying comfort levels with different topics, you always have the say in what you do or do not answer.

With acupuncture appointments, you receive acupuncture as well as herbal medicine recommendations.  With constitutional homeopathy appointments, you will receive a homeopathic medicine recommendation within several days of the initial consultation. 

Follow-Up Visits:  $65

Follow-up visits are scheduled based on individual circumstances and may include anywhere from a couple of sequential visits for mild conditions to weekly treatments for several months or more for more long-standing or serious health issues.

The average length of visit is 45 minutes to one hour for homeopathy consultations and one hour for acupuncture and Chinese herbs.  Acupuncture sessions will include herbal medicine recommendations at the time of treatment, and with homeopathy treatments, changes to homeopathic medicines will be made via phone within several days of the consultation.

Acupuncture Happy Hour

Join us Monday nights for stress-relieving and energizing acupuncture during Healthy Happy Hour at Mandala in Boulder.  Treatments are done seated and fully-clothed in a community setting, so wear comfy attire that allows access up to your elbows and knees.

Homeopathic and Herbal Medicines

Homeopathic and herbal medicines are not included in the treatment fees, although they are often less than $10 each.  Our office is a block from Pharmaca, where many homeopathic medicines are available for purchase, and any difficult to find homeopathic medicines can be special ordered.
